LAST DAY

SO we have finally reached the last day.And I have been
looking forward to it quite honestly.
Not everything went as "predicted" and not said in a positive way.
but who cares!!

What I've missed being here was definitely freedom ,because you feel like you're in a cage.
I haven 't learnt anything!! I've made some friend s some good ,some bad and unfortunately some terrible whom I would have better avoided from the very beginning.
These 2 weeks have seemed to have passed quite rapidly maybe because I was constantly thinking about the end of this agony.

OK,OK it wasn't as terrible and dreadful there were fun parts some excursions were OK ,too.

I don't know what to do as soon as I come home I guess I'll just chill smoke some "fags" and go on a diet ,food here was OK but definitely too much and to heavy and oily.
]

I dont knoww if i ll be sad to leave this place ....naaaa

ok then what else am i supposed to write?
Right so writing this blog was useful because we can write what we truly think about Queenswood and because apperently it s good for our english. I guess s0.
well well enough
My inspiration resources lack therfore I really don not know what else to write!
soso
bye bye

Last Dayyyyy!

"pepeppepeppepepeppepe!!!"

i am happy that i am going home!! of course i will miss everybody, but, you know, a good cappuccino, it's always a good cappuccino.
anyway! those two weeks has been gone quickly.. at the end it wasn't so bad. maybe i hay also learnt something (thanks Chris for teaching me how to say "impedited" in English).
Yesterday there was "Entrainment evening". It was absolutely too long to not fall asleep, but some plays were really fun! (like mine..) at the end the drama workshop has given a re-wieved version of "Romeo and Juliet" (with Me as Mercutio).. It was a Success! really gr8!
Yesterday we also went to London, but it was so boring that if i tell you something about this, you will be sleeping as i did.
So, now it's the time to say
Goodbye.

I will miss you all
<3
hope to c u again. xx
Chiara.

pS:John, happy B-day for monday :))

Week end! 5 days left!

Heeeeeey
Whats up?
Here everything is beautiful and green! the sun decided to show up and we are okay!

the weekend has been a bit tiring but we had fuuuuuuun!
on Saturday we went to Cambridge! we went punting and Bernardo felt into the water! (AHAHAHAH)
then we went in the city centre and did a sort of treasure hunt (but instead of doing it i went to have a Chinese lunch, but do not tell anyone! =P). we also went shopping but i did not find anything cool to buy, that upsets me a little, but i am fine!

On Sunday some of us went to Thorpe park.. it was really exciting!
I've done roller coasters and the tower and two others game. i was really scared on one of them!! it was like a huge see-saw, but it was very fast and if you kept your eyes open you could see all the trees behind you! o.O

but today, lessons again!! yeee! (fuck! -can i say those words on my post? i don't think so.. but doesn't matter)

hugs and kisses folks!

ALex&Palma

So let's start with what happened this week end.
On saturday we went to Cambridge ,the first thing we did was going punting.Which was kind of a mess because we had a lot of trouble "driving" the boat.someone even fell into the water.Fernando(Dee's class).

Then we were supposed to do a tresure hunt obviously almost no one did it .Palma went for lunch in a chinese restaurant and Alex went eating McD with other ppl.

And after we were allowed to do some shopping. And we didn't buy anything exciting.

On sunday, some of us went to Thorpe Park. The waking up was really difficult. Imagine it: breakfast at 8 am a sunday morning !!!! So after singing a little Happy birthday to Palma, we did some attractions (more queue than attractions...) and came back to Q really wet personnally.

P went to the tennis court and A went to the football pitch as well as P at the end of the evening.
Next we shared a chocolate cake in Senior House and watched an Friends episode before going to sleep.

WHENEVER WHATEVER

HI so this week ...well we didn't do THAT much .
Our classes aren't very challenging ,but we have a hell of a lot of hours per day and honestly I don 't feel like my English is improving.

Yesterday we went on our "academic excursion" we went to London to the madame Tussuad's wax museum , I actually didn't see much of it because it was very crowded .

This past week went by pretty rapidly(better). Soon 's my B-Day lets hope it won't be as boring as I foresee it to be .

Anyways as i told u I 'll try to dedicate part of my post to some Queenswood gossip:
so yesterday at the wax museums we had some feuds between a teacher and the excursion organiser(I think ,Roger).
so after him being absolutely horrible to one teacher he left.

Next ,today an AO(female) house parent of senior h. was spotted with another AO(male) exiting a room in the building...mm..doesn't sound right to me.
OK that's all.

bye bye
Xx

First week ends..

The excursion to Madame Tussauds was cool. I took many photos with Lucie and Chiara. You will surely see them soon on this blog, as soon as I take it back from Chiara s camera. Einstein, Johnny Deep, Marylin Monroe... <3

I think I survived and even liked this first week. The adaptation was not that horrible as I thought it would be. I met great persons at Queenswood and hope we will see or call or even mail eachother after our come back home.

Teachers manage to make lessons more interesting and original (Eminem with Dee, "letters game" with Brian...) than the ones I usually have in France. But we have many classes a day so this stays really exhausting, just as speaking English all day long, even if I like it. Fortunately, I can speak my own language with the few French people right here and also when I call my friends and family.

I chose to do aerobics (again) and Volley ball tonight. Oh and Jo is leaving Senior house tonight :( but a French houseparent is taking the room she left empty. It s Melanie. So it s quite nice for me).

A.

First week has gone..

..Fortunately.

They continue waking us up too early and the food it's always the same thing, but only 9 days are left and we have got to take this. (I've been a bit bitchy in that first part of my blog, but i don't really mind too much)

Yesterday we went to London, at Madame Tussauds Waxworks museum: it was crowded but i went through it quite quickly. I went into "The chamber of horrors", that cost 2.10 £ and i don't think it really worth them. There are just some actors coming near you and sometimes some noises. Then i get in a fake taxi and did a trip in the "Spirit of London" room. That's basically a summary of the history of London during the 20th century.

When we went out there has been some troubles with a teacher and Roger, but i won't write about it because i don't know if they want me to say it. (I think you'll find it on Palma's post anyway)

Anyway, we also went in Baker Street and bought some sweets and magazines, then to Regent's Park and ate lunch. I enjoyed it.

Nothing else.

Ps: witches are looking at your underwear.

today

palma that's my name
so today we're supposed to write something about what happened yesterday.
As you can imagine yesterday wasn't that exciting.
anyway yesterday we had the choice to go to the cinema,go bowling or stay at queenswood .
I stayed at queenswood and played tennis .
we also had to chose a workshop I chose business English ,which is OK. we learn how to give a presentation etc.

I do have some gossip today so the FRENCH and the ITALIAN are getting together.
I wont comment it , but I don't like either couples.

OK so that's it for today
bye bye
xoxo

Alex`s second post

Yesterday, we discovered our respective workshops. I personnally chose Travelling culture, a subject which really interests me, teached by John and Lesley (sorry if I don`t write it properly). To begin the class, we had to talk with our nearest classmate about the different countries we have ever been to. Next, we had to find different pieces of paper around the place. On these, there were some questions about English culture we answered quite quick. We came back to Highlander and talked about the results of this little preliminary test. When tutorial began, Brian asked us how these workshops were like. And I thought I was lucky to be in my workshop because most of the others students looked really bored.

In the evening I went to the cinema. I saw Schrek the third and felt asleep one or three times during the movie. Fortunately, the guys who went to the bowling were playing pool so I joined them and the evening was saved :). And by the way, Louis, if you see this blog, just buy your ice-cream next time :p.

It`s really difficult to me to write with this English keyboard because some letters and signs are switched... I type as someone who never saw a computer of his whole life !!! Hope I will get it before the end of my stay.

Tonight, I chose to do some badminton and aerobic. We`ll see if this is nice. Hope so.
My favorite animal <3
Hi, here it's Chiara!
I'm supposed to talk about the workshop i have chosen, and (strange but true), this time i am going to do what i am supposed to do! (but do not get used to it)
Anyway.. ..The workshop i have chosen is "drama". We basically know how to move when we are on stage. We have a project to present on Thursday the 20th, and we thought about playing Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet adapted to our years.. I think that Shakespeare wouldn't be happy to see it, but he's dead and i do not think he will complain.

Yesterday i didn't go anywhere, so i don't have anything to write about. lol.

Tuesday 10 July 2007

Hi. I am the last one, Alex. I don t have any inspiration so I think that will be a short presentation. First of all, I come from Paris, I am 15 (almost 16) years old and love dance and music (as well as dance music ha ha hum). *How many times did I introduce myself this way since the beginning of this stay ???* I think this "first of all" should be changed into a "to finish" because I am too tired to find anything else to say.

So bye <3.
ciao hello we 're supposed to write an individual post .
i m almost 16 live in italy ,rome and like it very much.
I love music .and not sure what else to say .

Hello, i'm Chiara and this is my individual post.
Actuallly i don't even know what to say, but i ll go trought it in some way.

anyway, I am 16 (almost 17) years old and i live in Milan, Italy. I don't have any special hobbies and i don't practise any sport. Under this point of view i could be a boring person, but i am not.

Ok, i've finished my topics :)

Bye
xo
Hello we are Chiara, Alexandra and Palma from Italy and France .
We are really bored right now and we don t really know what to write about.

QUEENSWOOD

The weather is horrible and cold but we 're trying to survive, which is really hard.
The food is awful but we barcollo ma non mollo (hum as a French girl I will probably never know what this means).

But we really hope we will learn some proper english. We wanted to find some gossips to talk about, but unfortunately there isn't any for now.

We have 9 lessons every day and at the end our brain is on strike...

ok bye

xoxo
